At Reel Estate, we are constantly looking for ways to streamline your workflow and make AI-powered real estate marketing as seamless as possible. Today, we are thrilled to announce a major step forward: we are actively expanding our platform by getting officially approved by local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) associations.

We are kicking things off in the Lone Star State. Our very first official MLS approval is now live with NTREIS (North Texas Real Estate Information Systems). If you operate in the North Texas region, you are officially cleared and ready to go.

How It Works on the Generate Interface

So, how does this actually work when you are creating content in the app?

When you go to check out on the generate interface, the system will automatically evaluate your project. If you only have our main video layer or photo layer active, a box will appear letting you know whether your content is MLS-compliant.

Keep in mind that strict MLS rules generally prohibit branding. Therefore, if your project includes any additional assets (such as custom text, shapes, or extra photos), the system will exclude your project from compliance.

If your project is compliant, Reel Estate will automatically generate a special link hosted on a whitelisted URL. You can easily copy and paste this URL directly into your MLS listing. Just remember: while this link works perfectly for associations we have officially integrated with (like NTREIS), it won't necessarily be accepted by other MLS platforms until we officially turn them on.

Understanding the Process: Why One by One?

You might be wondering, "Why not just turn every MLS on at once?"

The reality of the real estate industry is that MLS rules are completely different from region to region. There is no centralized, national set of guidelines. Instead, each locality controls its own specific rules, data standards, and compliance regulations.

Because of this highly localized landscape, getting approved isn't a simple flip of a switch. It requires us to approach each MLS association individually to ensure our platform meets their exact requirements. We have to select and prioritize them one by one, balancing these specific approvals with our other development objectives and platform upgrades.

We Need Your Help: Bring Reel Estate to Your Local MLS

This is where you come in. While we are working hard to expand our MLS footprint naturally, we want to prioritize the regions where our community needs us the most.

If you are eager to see Reel Estate integrated with your local MLS association, we want to hear from you.

Here is how you can help speed up the process:

  • Submit a Support Ticket: Drop us a line through our support portal requesting your specific MLS association. This helps us track user demand and prioritize our outreach map.
  • Share Your Contacts: If you happen to have a direct contact, board member, or liaison at your local MLS, please let us know in your ticket. A warm introduction can drastically cut down the time it takes to get approved and turned on for your area.
